"Edward Wooten and his family spent most of Saturday moving their belongings from their Acworth home to their new residence in the Brookstone Country Club subdivision in west Cobb County [largely traditional suburb of Atlanta].
When they returned from one last trip to Acworth, they discovered a horrifying sight --- threats and racial slurs spray-painted on their new home.
The Wootens returned home to find "KKK" painted over the entire front of the two-car garage --- along with threats, racial epithets and a reference to slavery painted on his driveway.
The graffiti also covered gutters and parts of his front porch.
A Cobb police car also was parked in front of the house, Wooten said, after a neighbor saw the graffiti and called 911.
"I got home, and I just couldn't believe it," Wooten said Monday.
Alexis Balkum, a family friend, said "the experience was just devastating. Edward wouldn't even allow his family to stay in the house Saturday night because he didn't know what to expect.
Two boys who live nearby were charged with second-degree criminal damage to property in the incident. Police did not release the boys' names, who are ages 10 and 14, because of their age........."

Should the parents be arrested instead?
