Are they any skiers on the board? I'm already getting ready for winter. Check out these skis. I have the ones on the far left, but the red is green. I'm just so excited for skiing I had to post these!

I usually ski at Sugar Bowl in Lake Tahoe, it's moderately priced and not as crowded as most other places. What about yourself?

Wow I'm jealous. I ski at a little bump called Butternut. It's cheap, and is medium sized for where I live. There are very few good skiers there, but that's actually pretty cool because it's easy to be one of the best. The slopes are not steep, but we have some good terrain parks that make up for it. Lake Tahoe... wow.

Taos would be amazing. I've never been west for skiing, but I've been to a lot of the nicer eastern ski resorts. Tremblant, Stowe, Killington, etc.

Like I said I do not ski, no coordination, however I do go with my daughter who snow boards, then I sit around the fire in the lodge, drink coffee and look cool. She has taken me to Ski Bluewood, 49 Degrees North, Schweitzer, Silver Mountain, Lookout Pass, Brundage and Sun Valley (once). NOt sure where she will go now that we are living in Western Washington, but I am glad she takes her dad.

As a family, we like to go to Mount Snow, Vermont. But two years ago, we tried Vail, Colorado. We absolutely loved it, and the following year, we tried Utah, but we were not as impressed. We are going to Vail only from now on, and if I ever want to go skiing with my friends over the winter, I go to Hunter Mountain, which is a local shitty mountain, but it's skiing nonetheless.

<-- Snowboarder here![wave]

I grew up on ski's as a child, then switched to a snowboard when I was an early teen. Boarding is probably one of my favorite things in the world to do. I've got 10 years under my belt, and I hope to keep going every year without fail. I LOVE IT! ahhhh.... fresh powder! [headbang]

I second that!!!![thumb] I been snowboarding for 8 years now. Been to damn near every resort in Utah, as weel as most of the decent ones in Colorado (Snowmass, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mou ntain)(which are now all one resort!!!!!!It is F@CKING HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Big Bear, Killington, Mt. Snow, Pico, Labrador, Toggenburg, Stratton. Etc. I can definately tell you from experience that the west is the only place to go!!! There is no such thing as powder back east. That and it cost's WAY to much.

This is just one of my babies. Rusty Tri Hull 159. You can actually see the tri-piece vertically laminated wood core if you hold it up to a light. Any body want to buy a snowboard¿ I have another one for sale.[;)]

I'm a WAYYYY hardcore skier. I remember when snowboarding hit the mainstream, a lot of my friends converted, a shame i tell you. though i do usually ride with snowboarders. It just seems to me that snowboarders dig out all the good mogals, and scrap all the good snow when runs get too tricky. I'll dig up some pics of the really wild stuff i've skied.

It's a double edge sword though. Ski's will absolutely destroy a half pipe. I really can't stand it when skiier have this bad attitude about snowboarders. I used to live with two people from the Snow Basin Ski Team, and we had absolutely no problem with each other. As for heli boarding. You can get a trip out of Ogden Valley from the bed and breakfat up there for right around $150 a flight. It's not all that bad of a price. I went last year for christmas vacation.
