Axl buys a Z8?

Sweden's biggest newspaper Aftonbladet reports in today's edition that GUNS N' ROSES' reclusive singer Axl Rose was spotted the other day at a BMW dealership in Santa Monica, California. According to the newspaper's source, Rose bought a luxury equipped black BMW Z8 Roadster. The price was 1.2 million Swedish krona (roughly $150,000).

For some strange reason I cannot see him driving a car like that. Hell, I can't even see him driving a bimmer much less a Z8.....

Those gossip mags always seem to inflate prices of things celebrities buy. The wife gets US Weekly and I've noticed there's a healthy inflation on many of the cool objects they say celebrities buy. I know cars at least and I know for sure the prices aren't right for most of the ones they list.

Yeah, they always inflat the price tag of the car and everything else they show that celebrities buy. It just makes regular people more impressed.
