Person experienced in ceramic tile and wood floors. Four day project pays $500.00 per day plus travel expenses, lodging in hotel, and car rental expense. All supplies and tools provided.

Not sure if I can post this here but I thought I would see if a couple of members could get together on this.

Also, if you know someone that would be interested please let me and them know.

Thank you!

You have no idea how much i wish i were experienced in flooring!!
So do I. I have ads in LA Times and Phoenix hoping to find someone with some down time in the next couple of weeks.

I was going to do this myself but don't have the time and locally the best I can do is mid to late November.

Bryan I have done tile work, remodeled two baths in my Idaho home in total tile, shower, floors, walls, etc. I would not consider myself a pro. How much do you need to do?

I think all of the work is basic so I don’t think a professional is necessary.

I could be low on the price. The tile part is 500 square feet and 420 square feet for the laminate. I changed to a floating laminate because the wood needed to be glued down. Home Depot and others would charge $3845.00-$4120.00 for the installation, calling it 4 possible 5 days, so the price is negotiable. I would also help when I can and also have everything ready and clean so no prep work involved.

I got a call earlier today from a guy that said he should have time next week. He said he is going to stop by on Monday at 10AM and decide. If it looks like a go I should be okay, that is if he shows up and can fit me the work in. Otherwise, I would still need to find someone.

Thanks [wave]

That would be a good deal. Our independent software and network guy charges $25.00 to start his car and $90.00 per hour until he is done.
I'll work for $6.75 an hour at this point.

Bryan330i; Home Depot sounds like you're being jacked. My buddy got hard wood floors from Lowes that snap into place and they told him installation would be $600 per 100sq feet, but I think that might have been with a local contractor. If you were in MD, I could reccommend a bunch of people that would do it for you. Good Luck man. Sean
