Hello everyone,
I was wondering how many females either post, lurk, or are members of this forum or others. I think females love cars as much as males, but my observation is generally, more males participate on the internet and in discussion boards in general. I think one reason is, and I see this over and over on many forums, of many different topics, that there are always guys wanting to flex their internet muscle. I think this, and aggresive, impolite attitudes make females in general not want to express their opinions or particpate. I believe strongly in haveing strong opinions and expressing them, but you don't have to be rude, nasty, or basically and a$$ to get them across. I for one would love more female interaction on these and other forums.

Questions, comments, concerns?

Regards,

I know my sis GuessGirl96... MyHarley, JamieD22 (admin GOD), bearswife, and fran.

However, GuessGirl96 and MyHarley are regulars.... sometimes you see Jamie and bearswife.... fran ????-2003

Personally, I know nothing sexier than a hot chick who knows how to handle a stick well (pun intended) [hihi]

I'LL BE THE FIRST TO ANSWER THAT QUESTION!!

In a few months of being a member, 95% of the male group on this forum are positive, very knowledgeable and even funny at times. It did take a while to get use to some of the jabbing, but all in all I have learned a lot about my own car, BMW's in general and who to go to when needing an answer. My goal is that in 10 years and after owning three or four BMW's by then, I will have answers instead of always asking a question. If I met some of the members, some would get a bop on the head, some would get a hug, some I would just roll my eyes, some a big thank you and a few I would have to say "what were you thinking."

I appreciate you asking the question.[thumb]

Thank's MyHarley

I love hearing your perspective. This forum is much more tame then some I've seen. I've been home with nothing to do since my wreck and I've been spending alot(Way too much) Time on the internet. What other forums are you a member/participate/lurk of?

Regards,

No other forums do I subscribe to. I am always clicking on some web-site that some member here has mentioned. Oh, I do play spades on MSN.COM..........so laughing.....since I do business in Singapore and Korea, I am on late and this forum occupies my time in between their correspondence.

BTW, how are you coming along since your wreck. You were the "Taurus victim" right?

Yes I am the Taurus Victim. I have pysical therapy for another 6 weeks. No broken bones, the cuts on my face are healing nicely, I got the Staples removed from my head yesterday. I should be 100% in no time at all. I'm lucky to be alive. Thanks for asking[:)]

Right now I'm on this forum and another one, the other is YourChillin', that place is very weird, not at all like this place. I've been a reg at many, I've noticed I usually fit in better with guys and feel more comfertable saying what I think around them. If I met all the guys here in person... Most would get a big hug and a thank you, few would get an eyeroll. Glad your better zaxford [:D]

Comment: I agree, but I can live with it.
Another comment (for Push): Uhm. I'm a guy. Read the profile, homey. I must now ban all of your priveledges. [;)]

Oh... I thought you were "Jamie". I know I wouldn't want to have a SN "AnnaD22".. its not guy material.

Oh yeah, I saw that. Glad you're getting better. How fast was the zone that you were going 45 in? And so the lumber truck just pulled out in front of you (assuming from a sidestreet or driveway) and you rammed right into it? Bad luck, I hope everything works out okay for you.

lol... Jamie could be a guy name though, short for "James".
Could be? You guys have never heard of a male Jamie before? [paranoid] Let me decode the name for you:
"Jamie" (my first name).
"D." (the 1st letter of my last name).
"22" (a couple of numbers).

And for the thread's sake:
"A guy" (what I am). [:D]
