ANYWAY
I'm looking to sell my 1990 325is. Here's a quick run-down (scroll down for a pic):
black exterior
good paint with factory red pinstripes
minor repair needed under the hood bra - some sort of ancient bondo repair failed recently and there's a chip about 3" in diameter... easy fix
bbs basketweave wheels
new all-season tires with <5000 miles
148k (lose solder in dash so speedometer/odometer aren't working 100% presently - indicates 145k)
black leather interior
heated 6-way adjustable sports seats (factory Recaro-style seats)
no cracks in dash or sags in headliner
factory premium sound (AM FM stereo cassette)
P/steering, P/brakes, P/locks, P/sunroof, P/mirrors
cold A/C with recent conversion to (and charge with) R-134a
MODIFIED engine (was used for 600 miles in a circle track car before I installed it)
2.7 liter ETA block (pro rebuild with approx 35k of use as a daily driver)
rebuilt 325i head
pistons machined as necessary to permit installation of 325i head on 325e block
K&N air filter
estimated output: 175ish hp (maybe more)
5-speed manual transmission
clutch only has 35K on it
car was originally an automatic
swap was done using a donor car with 100K
professionally done swap, transmission functions great!
Asking $4500 obo. To me the price seems fair considering the life left in the car (150K is not much on these cars...) and that the engine is essentially new.
However, I'm very willing to negotiate - I'm moving soon, so all offers will be entertained.
