I have a 318Is in excellent shape with less than 116,000 miles on her. Picture is my signature. I can get more pictures if desired.

The engine is in absolutely tip-top shape (knock wood). Used 5w30 synthetic oil every time. Coolant recently flushed. Inspection II is due @ 120k.

**The only problem is the thermostat acts funny sometimes; it sticks open and doesn't allow the car to reach it's operating temp. I will have it, the housing, gaskets, and water pump replaced before selling though.

**Brakes have less than 7.5k on them; same as rear tires; same as control arms, bushings; same as all four tie rods (front).

**front driver's seat has a 2.5 inch tear on bottom.

**Three fairly large key marks on the car. (Two on driver, one on passenger) [each one extends from midway of the rear quater panel to midway on the door] Other than that the paint looks new and shiny.

**Car was in an accident in May 2004. It was repaired by a BMW certified repair shop at a ridiculous cost of over $7k. The car was rear ended; I have pics of the accident if you would like them. I also have receipts and documentation regarding frame damage / repair.

**Suspension rides like it's new, but I do not know when it was replaced.

**Front headlights have been replaced off a 1998 328Ic. These are not fogged.

**Installed an arm rest (matching interior color). It came off of a 1999 328I.

**Installed a radio from a 1998 M3; not business radio, but it has weather band and all those (silly) features.

**Will come with two BMW alpine radios with both codes.

**Have most service records (all performed by dealer or BMW certified Mechanic)

**All original books.

**10 Disc Sony changer w/ remote (new model)

**Will most definitely pass state inspection. I promise that.

**THE car is in really good shape, I am not just saying that.

Make me a realistic offer and we can discuss it. Tis a great first car; reliable and safe. When I had my accident (the guy in a full size Bronco plowed into me at 28mph and I was stopped) I didn't even have a soar neck; it felt like someone tapped my car while parking. Very safe. Very Agile; a bit under powered, but a blast to drive. PM for my phone number or email address. It will be difficult to arrange a time to see the car in the next 2-3 weeks, so if you're in a hurry to find a car this one may not be the one for you.

Thanks. Sean

I'm really sorry man. I hope you find something else. I'm having tons of trouble finding a single nice E30 within 300 miles. E36's should be easier to find.

Thanks Eric. I've been keeping an eye out for a nice e30, but I know what you mean regarding those cars. To be honest I like the look of the e30s better than the e36, but my parents said air bag is a MUST; and I tend to agree with them. Plus I'd like a relatively low mileage car.

I'm probably not going to get another e36; I'm think e39; only problem is most that are for sale are automatics. We'll see. Good luck with yours man.

jared,
uhm, are you looking at trade in value? I checked kbb and edmunds and both of them are no where near 5200 for private party or retail (. When I saw your price I started to get worried cause I received approximately $7k for damages to my car and if it had the value you stated, then I would be left wondering why the insurance company paid me so much.

Also, regarding the accident; the actual body work and structure of the car was restored to its intended factory specs. My parents made me get it structurally examined before I was allowed to drive it and I have the reports and everything. I even have some sort of warranty for the work. I'll definitely post some pictures. Also, I plan on replacing the front seat and having the key marks repaired before I sell the car; the car is going to be in absolutely tip-top condition with inspection II complete or a reduction in price for it. I know what it's like to buy a crap-a$$ car and be dissappointed, so I'd never do that to someone else. Give me till next weekend and I'll wash, wax and detail her and take pics. Also, there's additional stuff on the car that it didn't have (which personally I feel make the car much more comfortable)

Let me know if you want me to post them here or email the pics to you. Thanks.

how much for one of those bmw oe radios?

Which one?

THe 1998 M3 stereo is currently installed in the car, and to be completely honest the sound quality with it is MUCH better than the other one. This is one is practically new; the button have no wear; but I'm probably going to sell it with the car. I paid $85 for it this past summer.

The Original one is from a 1995 318Is; works great. The light doesn't always light up properly, but mechanically and cosmetically it looks new. I just kept it in case my car got wrecked and the insurance company tried to take my new stereo. If you want this one let me know.

Car now has a new air flow mass meter, boot, air filter, and most (like seriously most of them) of the rubber hoses have been replaced. It's a bit faster than I remember. I'm getting even sadder about selling it.

The car does have sport suspension and I do have receipts to prove it. The car will most likely come with two sets of wheels: the originals and the 16" cross spoke sport rims.
