Wow....the winds in Atlnata fell a huge pine tree on my dad's house. Luckily the branches kinda of deflected it off his sun room, so it just took out some roofing and drain. He was lucky he didn't have any windows broken. Down the street two pear trees are split in half and an old white oak is laying on the street. Get this....if the tree falls just partially on the roadway, the municipality comes along and cleans everything up for you. In my Dad's case, it was a neighbor's tree that landed on the side of his house, he had to get out the chain saw himself. They won't even cart away the tree until regular pick up day and it will cost him extra if he puts out more than two cans worth a week. Go figure! In Georgia, trees become yours when they land on your property!
