BERLIN (AP) -- Formula One champion Michael Schumacher plans to donate $10 million to aid efforts for tsunami victims in Asia.

Schumacher's manager Willi Weber made the pledge Tuesday in a telephone call to a fund-raiser on German television, organized in collaboration with the German Red Cross, the U.N. Children's Fund and other organizations.

That is quite nice of him, but not very hard when he makes as much as he does. I believe Sandra Bullock also donated $1 million.
True, but 10 million is a lot of money no matter how much you make and it is 9 million more than she did. With that being said, for her to donate 1 million, which is a lot of money as well, is a very noble thing to do IMO...

$10M to him as prolly = to $1M for her. For Sandra, she gets a tax break. If Michael lives in Monaco, he may not have a tax reason to donate money.
