Need 1988 325is engine

Hey guys I'm looking for an engine for my 1988 325is. I think its called an M20 engine. My email address is kjs862@mac.com

I have one... I'm in pennsylvania. It has 182,000 miles on it but it ran absolutely PERFECT. Compression tests it was above 150psi on each cylinder. I would rebuild the head if I were you (still on its original head gasket)...but you can do that yourself - DEFINITELY not necessary. Only thing "on its way out" is the alternator, I have another one thats used, but you can get them rebuild for less than $40.

I dont even know how much to ask for it. I want to keep the transmission though.

I was thinking of something with fewer miles, but if you price is right; who knows. How much would you take ?

Alright the engine is already sold - but you should know that ANY "I" engine is exactly the same as the "IS". The tranny was different, but the engine itself is 100% the same.
