New game console coming out called the Phantom. Looks like it could be bad ass www.phantom.net It sounds like a subcription service were you download the games off the internet and some come pre-loaded.

Being the dork/loser I am, I know too much about video game news. For over a year this has thought to have been a joke, but just lately they've come out with some new info on the system. Infact, in the September issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, they have a writeup on it. It'll have 3 times the speed of an xbox and 4 times the memory. That's just one little thing they said about it. I'm too lazy to type anymore.

I heard PS3 is in the process...along with XBOX2. They're supposed to rock. I'm gonna hold onto my PS2 for a while. It's enough for me.....for now.

Anyone else that's into games, you gotta check psxtreme.com and read up! [;)]

Ya i just got an Xbox with Halo. That game kicks ass! But i think im done spending money on all that crap. I really need to save some for my car. But even though i just said that ill probably end up buying whatever comes out next! Oh well...[rolleyes]

Or you can upgrade your computer for the 600 bucks a new one of those costs and download the games (...or buy them) [screwy]

And then, your computer will beat that xbox2 for ever.

Computers break all the time (that's why I have a job). Game consoles don't. I hate playing games with the keyboard....or a ghetto version of a controller/gamepad. Just my opinion, though.

I see where you're comin' from, EPJ, though. PC's are always upgradeable and will always kick butt when it comes to computing power.

If only you knew how much my friends and I are into Halo. We are uber dorks. We all get around, play 16 player Halo, get drunk, then play some more Halo. I'm pretty much on a team of 4 that play tons of people. Our specialty is CTF Extreme on Blood Gultch, but we're also not too bad at CTF on Hang em High. We all have specialties that we work on. Mine is foward assault while on offense, and inside defense while on defense. I'm also the person on our team best with the alien weapons. The sniper on our team is a machine. One shot kill machine. Another person specializes in vehicles while the last person is an all around guy.

Ya thats sounds awesome! The most ive ever done is 4 player system link play. We did custom CTF on Sidewinder. Damn, we did that for hours. Personally getting buzzed and playing is better than getting totally drunk. Even though i dont get hangovers! But i could see the fun in it...[hihi]

Very true, though mine never breaks [:p] but that's because i'm not abusive like the people you deal with are like.
