Those remind me of the time a couple of my friends and I flew a kite out of a car. We drove it around the high school parking lot at around midnight, and it got stuck in a tree as we were trying to leave. Then we saw a cop and ran away because we weren't sure how legal flying kites out of cars, is. But the cop wasn't even coming to the parking lot, so we were basically just running away for the smell of it.

Man, speaking of which, I passed by a cop going 58 in a 40 zone today. He didn't have radar on and I was the only car on the road really...he was hiding in such a great spot in some trees and stuff. But I think he was eating lunch or something because didn't come after me at all which was weird. Maybe these guys are busy eating lunch or napping or something like that?
I can tell you police officers eat lunch too, and it always seemed that during my 30 minute no guarantee lunch someone either called for an officer for some really stupid thing or someone would do do something really stupid in front me. There are also the times where I would be so far behind in paperwork that unless you attacked me you were not going to get stopped. He may have been hiding from you to catch up, not to sneak up.
That makes a lot of sense, becuase I see cops all the time just sitting on the side of a highway looking down at the computer or papers, or sometimes parked in parking lots just working on stuff.
And the thing about bugging you during a lunch, I know you had a fulltime job and it's not the same - but when I worked at staples and clocked out for lunch, it seemed as if thats the time customers wanted to ask every question (Which I didn't help becuase I wasn')
