Good luck to everyone......
yesterday I was on an island off South Korea, called the hotel operator to find out the ferry times to get back to the mainland, he said, "typhoon coming, you need to leave as soon as possible." Of course this was all in broken English. I said "typhoon???" Looked on AOL for weather information, no mention of typhoon, clicked on BBC, no mention of typhoon, called my Mother in the States, no mention of typhoon. I'm thinking, wtf??? I hurry and get ready to take the ferry, everyone standing around like nothing, sun shining. When I finally get to the mainland I ask my rep, "what typhoon?" He was laughing meaning the current is getting rough due to typhoon off China and ferry does not operate in rough conditions, but no typhoon coming our way. I told him its not nice for them to mess with a stupid American. Two more days and my happy ass is planted on Texas soil.

Also, please pray for my family, we so desperately need all the help we can get. I feel like my life has turned upside down in so many directions and ways I would give up everything for health and piece of mind for those close to me.
