This is exactly why we do not use power washes on our BMW's, look what it did to this man's Alpine White 525i. In some spots it took the paint off clear down to the BMW brown primer. And I believe it shrunk the leather.
I pressure wash my car all the time before I actually wash it... using pressure from the faucet and the right ?"sprinkler"? it gives nice punch to take most of the dirt off before actual washing.

One thing I do not get is why a Jet Black BMW has white primer under the paint ... it makes small scratches and rock chips attract attention like Ferraris in my lot. [|)]
