The RANT, RAVE, or RAMBLE THREAD

I've noticed many of you, my compatriates, are in those fun college/grad school years. I'm finishing up my college years and (hopefully) getting ready for grad school. My question to you all, and those who have dealt with this way in the past is, why don't papers write themselves? I have been sitting here procrastinating writing this damn paper and I'm thinking, why the hell won't this paper just complete itself, I mean it must know where it's going. lol. I'm loosing my mind; school is really starting to f with my head. After countless sleepless nights and gallons upon gallons of over-priced coffee, I am reaching the end of my tether with this venture called 'undergraduate degree.' One more freaking 15 page thesis paper and I am going to loose it. At least it's comforting taking my baby on the beltway and just ripping it.

Anyway, I forgot my point. I really don't think I had one anyway...

I guess this can be the random ramblings or rant thread, so FEEL FREE TO RANT, RAVE, OR RAMBLE.

This semester has been crazy so far. I've been super busy with my classes. I've never had classes this hard, but somehow I'm still managing to make awesome grades and also finding some time on the side to party. Thankfully I don't have to write papers. Never could, never will. I do have tons of drawings and models to work on, but I'd much rather do that then punch numbers or wrtie papers. Next semester, however, should be a different story. Free time will be a thing of the past for me.

why is it that girls like the a**hole dudes, but completely ignore the good guy? why is it that when you are a good student and you mess up once, everyone "ooooos and ahhs" but when someone else messes up they just shrug? why do people think i'm some kind of rich guy 'cause i have a bmw (without a doorpanel)? why does my car look friggin *H*O*T* when i'm driving it? heh, i am pledgin for a society on campus.....talk about hell.

last night i was electrocuted for a minute.....i had to SIT on the spark, way to close to the fun bags if you know what i mean. it wasnt a small spark either...it was hooked up to a capacitor, and was definetly more than 120v.

stuff like that for the last three weeks, with night where i might get 2 hours of sleep. only a few weeks left, hopefully.

Cant answer that one. I think its pretty hot that some of the girls here drive BMW's.

Becuase, typically (its pure fact, not an opinion) the women who drive bmw's - especially those with almost no options (ie Xenon's, performance package, etc.) are bought for them to run chores. I don't agree with that, but I know it's what people think.

Blame the Y chromosome.

Does anyone with a manuel trany ever just keep their car in its power band while driving?

For instance, if I'm getting on, I'll stay in no higher than 3rd gear at about 3500 rpms, then when I have a chance to merge, I'll hit the gas and just play with it. Sometimes, just to freak the hec out of my mom, I'll get the engine speed at 3500-3800rpms and jar the accelerator just to make the car jerk with power. lol. Do any of you all do that, or am I alone in my insanity?

Here is a rant

JUST received my f---ing LSAT Score for law school applications. Needless to say my score was not pleasing, nor anywhere near an apt judgment of my intelligence. I really hate how one freakin test can take 4 years of hard work and say it's meaningless. I guess I can only blame myself. Whatever...what a sh8tty weekend.

If anyone has any secrets on how to bring that score up, please enlighten me.

I feel like those bastards are [hah]
