King County got some snow last night so there will be no roadster driving today! We got an inch or two which will all be gone by mid-day. About 32 degrees out now and getting warmer! What's your weather like?

its around 25 degrees out right now and about 10" of snow that we finally got last wendsday. That was the first cumulative snowfall we have gotten all season that stuck. Is it just me, or does winter suck when its just cold with no snow?

It's been in the very high 60s, low to mid 70s here over the past week and looks like this warm trend will continue over the coming week. I don't like it - I spent my Christmas vacation in Indiana, Chicago, and Michigan where the daily highs were in the teens and there was 8 inches of snow on the ground - that's what I like. I like winter weather during winter - not this late springtime stuff.

You guys would be surprised at how cold you can drop the top. My friend with the Miata will put his top down as long as it's 40 degrees or higher. I've seen quite a few hard-core roadster people drive around with the top down in 40-45 degree weather. I believe the trick is, top down, keep your jacket on, turn up the heat, and you're good to go (even roll up the side windows if you want).

I remember when my friend got one of the first Z3s off the assembly line back when I was in high school. It was a bright red 4-banger (remember how the first Z3s were all 4 pots???) and was the first Z3 any of us had ever seen. The plant gave it to his dad for the weekend, and we tooled around in it for a day in the 35 degree weather, with the top down of course. Side windows up, heat on full blast out of the dash vents, and heavy coats. To tell you the truth, it was damn cold. The side windows didn't help much, and the heater just couldn't keep up - it became bearable when stopped at traffic lights, but once you started moving again, it got damn cold. People looked at us really weird - we couldn't figure out if they just thought we were insane for driving around with the top down or if they were looking at us weird because no one had ever seen a Z3 before. unseasonably warm in much of the SE these days.. mid 70's here a few times last week, feels like spring..

My wife and I took our little one to the Zoo today - there was a lot of 'wrestling' going on, due to all the warm weather!

I'm moving to Tucson!

Come down Big Daddy we would have a blast! We have some real great twisty roads, but the summers suck!!!! 110++++ degrees. We get tons of blue haired lizards (Retired Snow Birds) here in the winter time.

High of 80 today, and high 70's to around 80 all this week. I think mother nature decided to skip winter this year around here.

My azaleas bloomed last week!!!

Lucky bastard. Although this is one of my last winters here in good old Jersey. In a year or two from now, I'll be sharing the weather with you, bmwrocks.
