So what does everyone do for hobbies/fun/relaxation besides BMW related stuff?

My long time hobbies have been music and homebrewing. I play guitar and sax, and used to play in several bands over the years until things got too demanding at work and life in general.

I have been homebrewing for about 12 years or so, made a batch of dunkelweizen (dark wheat beer) a few weeks ago, in the fermenter right now. In the planning stages are a Fat Tire clone and an Oatmeal Stout. Mmmmmm, beer.......

i play guitar in a band, and do my own acoustic thing and sing as well. i still play street hockey, and i read quite often. i also started playing diablo2 lord of destruction, but thankfully i've sort of weened myself off of it.

in the winter i am an avid alpine skier, i think this is the only picture i have of me skiing, and it was taken by someone working at bridgerbowl, the image is from a video.

perhaps someday pics of me playing music will surface on this site, but for now, i haven't anything appropriate enough to post.

Used to be an avid musician, was a band nerd in highschool and seriously wanted to go to college for music. Went to district band the one year, the following years I unfortunately stopped giving a shit about it - probably because I started paying attention to girls and cars instead. Haven't played for about 3 years.

I was into photography for a while and plan to get back into it, but ended up selling my gear because I wasn't using it, and the e34 was pissing me off. [hihi] I have a nitro RC car I mess around with when I get bored, and friends are trying to get me into paintball, but I already have two extremely expensive hobbies as-is. My job, school, and other things have killed off most of my former hobbies!

Kirby - doesn't home brewing smell bad? You'll have to have me over for a taste, of course not til the end of january [:p] (how convenient is it that I turn 21 the day before the superbowl.............)

That's why I do the brewing outside in the summer by the pool, or in the garage in the winter. My kids think it smells bad, but I LOVE the smell of boiling and fermenting wort (wort is the malty liquid before it ferments into beer). Fermenting takes place in my basement - perfect 65 - 68 degree temperature for ales, and produces only a minimal sweet smell if you are nearby.

Wow, thats awesome, lol the forum is full of musicians or ex-musicians!

Well, lets add to the bandwagon, I produce electronic music in my spare time, and can play a litlte guitar to add to the tracks as well every now and then.

Aside from that I'm into F1 racing and Football (soccer), Cars in general, Graphics and sketching, Fishing, and...

well.. and, i play World of Warcraft at night :p.

I might also be starting golf soon with a few friends, my stepdad got me into golf when i was young and that bug is still in me to try and play, so lets see how that goes.

Regularly: Reading up on technology and cars (quickly), reading books (slowly). Working on and driving my RC car, playing tennis once a week, exercising, playing some intense ping-pong.

When I lived in LA I used to plan and organize weekly popular meets. Unfortunately in Missouri the BMWs are few adn far inbetween thus I organize big meets on a rare occasion. Last meet I held in Missouri was only 20 cars and was last february. I spent 3 weeks plannign that one. The next meet i'm helping host has 8 sponsors adn 70 registered cars. A website. Door prizes. An agenda. A logo and slogan. www.midwestbimmerfestivus.com. We've been planning this one since March.

In a week in LA I organized a meet within a week, with 2 sponsors, and had 90 cars show up.

Darn midwest!

College indeed. We're still in that phase where we think it's cool to keep an empty bottle collection. We still believe that the more alcohol we have consumed in our lives, the cooler we are.

I'm like a 10 on the cool scale. [kick]
It makes you live longer too, so that means you can drink even more. [;)]

Planning a trip to Durango in Sept, me an my buddies are going to rough it.. We plan on camping and fishing on Lake Haviland.

I am wanting to buy a pistol.
