This is a tough one?

I respect Ford for being a bit quicker to respond to customer demands.

I question GM for the “let’s give them what WE say they want” attitude.

Daimler Chrysler may be the lesser of the big three US companies. “5 Star Certified” is just a marketing ploy I think.

I think BMW has a lot of talented people, if customer service would improve I think they could be one of the best.

I guess that I would need to say Ford probably has the best overall package for a company. But I like BMW’s much better. So I would say from a management perspective Ford, from a car perspective BMW. With BMW taking first if a better structured and more responsive management style was put in place.

Just my opinion and not backed by a whole lot of facts. [wave]

With the horrible cars Ford makes, they have to have good customer service otherwise their slow journey to hell would be much quicker. Also, they're a huge company with A LOT of customers. I'm sorry if anybody who reads this drives a Ford but hey, am I right, or am I right? They have horrible quality, design, and style. My friend's mom got a new Ford Taurus, one year later (when the car is still brand new) the engine overheats for absolutely NO reason at all. I also remember the time the new Focus' back wheels fell off because of some bearing default. Oh, and the other time when there was a recall because of a defect in the windshield wiper motors that caused them to catch fire when used (I don't remember which model).

So if Ford keeps up (or down) at making dog-shit quality cars, their only hope towards avoiding going to hell is if Satan drives a Ford too, then they'll never make it.

What about for Mustangs.. cobra R one isn't too bad for 0-60 4.4 sec.?
Speed is nothing though, we're talking about quality. Anybody can make a potent engine, it's just a formula, making a powerful engine that lasts though is a different story.

And Mustangs are ugly as hell and have fake intakes, how can you base over 1/3 of the car's exterior design around something that's fake? They could've at least made them air ducts for the brakes or some shit. For those of you that don't know, next time you see a parked Mustang look at the rear intakes in front of the back wheels and the intake on the hood. You'll be surprised to see that there's a plastic cover with holes in it that aren't even holes. Not only are the intakes fake, but these plastic covers are made out of the same quality plastic you would expect to find in those disposable plastic forks you buy at Giant for $0.75.
