If he dies.. at least he went out driving a Ferrari... thats more than most of can say.
The husband of a friend of mine drove his Ferrari UNDERNEATH a semi trailer. Took off the top of the car, and also the top of his scalp. He was in a coma for 2 weeks and in ICU for over a month, months of rehab, but he is walking around today.

Needless to say the car was totaled.

Getting back to that Ferrari Spyder thing you know it wouldn't be too bad to had a civic that did the same speeds at that. Just imagine the look on some guys face when you totally destroy himnin his so called EXOTIC. Would be fun wouldn't it ?
Its very fun and even more entertaining when they have their girlfriends in the car [thumb]

but then again you still would be in a civic....
Exactly, if its just a civic and its a POS than why is his car slower than a POS if its THAT "extra specal" and made by the hand of god himself?

The answer is.....its just a car....and the whole "its just a civic" is very funny because "its just a civic that handed you your hiney on a sliver platter"....here it is .....eat it [rofl]

Speed is not everything. Even if its slower doesn't mean is does not fit into the "extra special" category. Some cars could be considered works of art and have marble engines that you can relax to the sounding power of their engines, I respect them much more than cars that are all beefed up for power. Don't get me wrong, I am not agianst your car... its just a notion of respect. A fine exotic car would always be that, even if it is slower than cheaply-made Cobra R.

An enzo ferrari is a work of art

A 3 series is just another car

There is a huge difference between an "exotic" thats worth its salt and some moron who thinks he is "better" is grade A prime choice prey....the its just an "X" car is stupid....unless you know what the car is capable of and more importantly the driver all you can do is ASSume too much....and we all know what that makes you

Hey, I just got caught up on this.
QuickCivicGuy, you said you are in the market for an M Coupe, right? I think you should look for a 2001+ model that had the 315hp I6 motor, rather than the 240hp I6 motor. But then again, it's kind of hard to say...the 240hp motor has many more tuning options, but the 315hp motor is a much better start.
Did you say you were going to change out the motor anyways??

Well the bearing problems and initial motor problems faced by the newer motor threw me off.....the older motor was proven and have many spares and lots of aftermarket support.

Technology is a wonderful thing but it also comes at a price.....a supercharged 99 M coupe goes for MUCH less than an 01 M coupe...but its all a matter of preference....I will pay 20-25K for a 99 but there is no way I am going to pay 38K+ for an 01 just not a sound decision for me finicially....but for someone with more cash flow I dont think it would matter as much.

Yeah, I was looking at some cars on eBay and thinking about it. It makes a lot more sense to get an M Coupe with the 240hp motor and go from there (supercharger, etc.).
