I know everybody think different but beemer is the right spelling in this case. So anyone who thinks my user ID Beemerworld is incorrect is wrong.

Beamer is very close but its not right.
Bimmer will sound as Baimer which doesn't make sense.

If you have some good dictionary program with voice than look for it.[:)]

Also question for Tom. Is there any way you can change my "b" for capital, so it will look like this "Beemerworld" Please[pray] I would appreciate that.

I have the same opinion as Cosmos Black. Bimmer = car. Beemer = motorcycle.

Has to do with what I've read including online as well as Bimmer magazine.

I don't think "California Beemers" proves anything other than there is yet another person that does not know the difference.

It looks to me like all respectable, long-term BMW brand related companies use “bimmer.” I have yet to find one that does not.

I think part of the issue is the difference in languages.

In English it's Bimmer, as in TIM, JIM, etc.

But in German the letter I is pronounce like the English letter E.

The German alphabet is pronounced:
A=Ahhh, B=Bay, C=Say, D=Day, E=Aaaa, F=Eff, G=Gay, H=Hah, I=Eee, J=Yut ......

so IN GERMAN the word Bimmer *would* be pronounced BEEMER.

Beemerworld, Wadula, other Germans here, am I right??
