This car was the best car I ever drove. The second I turned the key I was sold on it. Unfornatily the one I drove was falling apart, but now I know what to look for. I will still say a member of this forum though : ), not many good Camaro forums out there.

I am just playin with yaz !!!

I really like the older Z28's, the more modern Camaro's (90's) I honestly thought lost appeal, but they were definate performance machines !![:D]

There is no denying the muscle-cars.

Absolutely the Z28's, Corvettes and Cobra-Mustangs will take my lil 330 to the cleaners and hang me out to drip-dry !!!

I just somehow think the American muscle car companies lost styling flavor & mixed in too many wings, plastic body parts, cheap interiors etc.. < sigh ! >

If I were buying shear horsepower and I could tolerate it, I would get a Z06 Corvette, which would take my little brothers 911 to the cleaners. But side by side one looks classy and refined and the other looks like plastic.

I probably shoulda scraped up the xtra $$$ and went M3 [bigcry]

First, I hate Ford, so I wouldent get the mustang.

Second, the corvette is too expensive, dont want to have to deal with it.

This leaves me with the Z28 and the Firebird Trans Am GT. I havent yet looked at the Firebird yet but I found one not to far so I will look at it today.

I much prefer the shape of the Firebird's body. That said, even with all that power, I could never really justify it to myself over something more refined like an E36 M3.

I have driven a ram air firebird it was amazing.

Yes its not refined like a bmw but the raw power makes much up for it that thing can plant you in your seat
you will get chills up your spine from the roar of the engion and the sound of the ram air. Its a hell of a car. One thing when looking for one you want low low miles higher ones normally have had the piss driven out of them. There bodys on the firebirds are much better looking than a comaro and for some odd reason i think there build quality is a little better than a comaro.

unfornatly I cant afford the ram air firebird, and I also cant aford the E36 M3. I got rilly busy today so I didnt get a chance to see the trans am, but I will hopefully tomorow. Acording to what I have read online I am leaning twards the trans am over the camaro, I also think it looks better. Hopefully I will make my decision tomorow, and have the car by next weekend.
