I prefer the motor over the actual F-Body chassis and the LS1 is quite a hude leap in small block technology and efficiency...most put 320whp down
I dont like the weak rear ends, I dont like the 3400lbs of mass, I dont like the solid rear axle and I definitely dont like not being able to see over the hood (5'7") and I really really dislike GM for A not redesigning an IRS version...B for not lowering the price and C because they still manage to make the cheapest looking plastic hardware in the auto industry
For cheap thrills the LS1 is about as good as it gets when talking horrible resale value for a car with 320whp......tragic to say the least
However I dont hold that against the owners and regualry have discussions with the civilized ones...the others I just visit at the drag strip and deflate their ego's
5.7L vs 1.8L....sounds fair right?
