brahtw8, I only meant that as a joke thing, I'm sure you understood it. The thing is, my G35 Coupe (or any other car I own in my future) will probably never see a racetrack. So the only fun I will have is limited to long winding roads, highways, and highway entrance/exit ramps. From this, I don't think it's worth it to go to those driving schools. College is enough for me...I don't need to spend my free time at a school. I don't race on a racetrack and I don't race other people on the streets (5-point ticket for that[:0]), so I honestly don't see the purpose of bothering with those driving schools that will teach me how to do really cool shit I will never be able to use. [V]
Dekion, the G35 Coupe is definitely the way to go. IMHO, the G35 Sedan's rear end is a bit odd, whereas the G35 Coupe's rear end is stunning. You also get 20hp more and it just looks much nicer. As for room in the rear, it's good and bad. I am only 5'7" and last night I tried sitting back there (yes, I know it's weird to randomly sit in the back of your car, but I just had to try it out). The legroom and waist-room and shoulder-room are fine, but headroom is seriously lacking. If I sat up against the backrest perfectly straight, my head would hit the ceiling. So basically, I don't think anyone over 5'7" would have a good time back there due ot the serious lack of headroom. Also, I'm curious as to what would happen if someone of my height was sitting back there, and the car hit a bump on the road or something...wouldn't that send the rear seat occupant's head right into the roof? Oh yeah, and in the back, the rear windshield is above your head, not the roof of the car....
Either way, on the week-ends, I always have 3 or 4 people in my car, but I just don't give a shit. For all those that I'm driving by myself, the Coupe is priceless.
And since you are going Coupe, you should really consider the 6MT version (6-speed manual). The 6MT version comes with 18" rims and tires and a limited-slip differential. You also get the Brembo brakes and tighter suspension. The G35 Coupe Auto version does not come with Brembo brakes and the tighter suspension at all, and the 18" wheels and the limited slip differential are an option.

Nice! I almost got that car too. I'm really impressed with your garage though. That place is HUGE! And is that an E55 I see in there?
I do not think its his house's garrage. Unless it a multi-million $$$ house... no personal garrage has poles to hold up the roof.

It's the garage of my house (parent's house). It's a 12-car climate-controlled garage. G35C, ML500, E430 4Matic, and RX300 are in there. S500 is in a 2-car garage on the other side of the house. I went with the G35 Coupe because I THOUGHT the 330Ci was too expensive. I found out that the lease prices were the same after the car came in, and I was waiting and dreaming about this car for so long, I just decided to go with the G35C.

WOW. My dream is to own a garage that big. Well, I actually wanted a climate control multi-level garage. The house part can be a little 3 bedroom for all I care (less to clean). I don't think there are too many houses with big garages like that in CA, least not in areas I wanna live in. My uncle has some million dollar home and he still only has what looks like a 3 car garage.

Damn.. how much did your parent's house cost? Are your parents paying for the car? Can;t you just choose the car from the lot? I mean,.. its just a 3-year lease.. its not like you are going to have a car for a while.

It is extremely hard to get your hands on a G35 Coupe. Particularly if you want color and option preference. I wanted a G35 Coupe 6MT with Premium Package (Bose Sound System and Sunroof) and DVD Navigation System, in black on black. I had to wait a month for it and I had to pay sticker.

Its a hot car right now. At least you didn't have to pay over sticker. When I was looking for a car, I had to buy a 350Z before I could drive it. That's ridiculous. If I had bought a Z, I would be kicking myself right now, as I much prefer the G35.

I love the 350Z a lot, but it just wasn't for me. I needed something with 4 seats and a somewhat real trunk, but I wanted 350Z-like performance. Answer: G35 Coupe.
Personally, I think they are giving the 350Z waaayyy too much hype. The base price is very reasonable, but Nissan wants you to pay much over sticker price, and wait a few months for one...it just does not make sense at all. Besides, I prefer the classier, more mature look of the G35 Coupe to the 350Z's boy-racer styling.

But 350Z is the best thing Nissan came up with. Personally I like it better than INFINITI.
