you guys are crazy. I didnt like the new 5 at first either, but after a while it grew on me. Same with the z4. No matter how ugly though, I would never take the tl over a 5 series.
The new tl does look okay though. front is nice, not too crazy about the back.

I like Z4, and liked it from the biggining, the 5 won't grow on me though, it's similar to the 7 and thats been out for two years and I still don't like it.

Did you say you drive stupid?

"have fun the site is just as stupid as idrive"

lol, either way, I agree the back of the 5 is ugly, very cheap looking, like plastic, I don't remember how the interior looks though, I remember I didn't like it too much though. I'll take a look at that.
LOL you should know what idrive is[:I]
Its that stupid little nob that controls everything[8]

lol is it just me or does teh new acura look a lot like the 5? i mean its edgy, sharp cuts, and WTF is that indent running along the side?!?!?! LOL the exhaust tips remind me of a trumpet horn, they're disgusting! the headlights looks 10x better than the bmw 5 series but the lines on the car are VERY close to a E60's. they copy

You guys are not true Bimmer fans! I have never bought a BMW for the looks. Just take a good look at the E30, not a great looking car. Chrysler makes great looking cars (Prowler, 300M, Viper, Ram 1500). I would NEVER buy one (well maybe the truck). I have always bought Bimmers because of the way the drive, handle, etc. BMWs are expensive so I always look for an alternative. I drive everything before I decide on a car. [driving] I always go back to BMWs.

I think the 7 looks good from the front and sides, but I don't like the trunk. As for the 5, I like it. I saw one at the dealership and it looks very good, not as good as the E39, but I still like it.

This new Acura TL boasts a 3.2 liter 270hp V6. Be afraid, be very afraid.
I am with MrElussive on this. I understand this is a very nice, fast, and great handling car. Could give BMW trouble. Better price, faster car (than lower end 5’s), some may say better or at least the same style and look. Not taking side, just the facts.

Acura makes a nice car,

I had a 2001 3.2 TL, smooth quiet etc... far less capable in the cornering dept though & not quite as refined as BMW's, but a great value. I personally like the last TL body style better than the new one ?

I'll stick with my 330.[driving]

You may change your mind with some of the new cars that will be out. Granted, I like BMW and it would be my first choice; however, due to the changes I may look at other alternatives when my lease is up. I think BMW is trying to copy other cars, cant they make something more original given the price? MB has it's own style, Audi maintains it's own style, but BWM cant seem to get it together with it's own thing. This IS, and will continue to cost them sales I think. People in this price range have a lot of options and I see a number of them going to other brands. Look at the drop off in 7 sales, this after a year of outstanding growth. I expect more of the same for BMW sales.
