Interested in what you guys think of people who make stuff out of the blue to look cool on a board?

I have noticed some people posting some pretty interesting crap lately and its seems to go by unoticed by most....

Facts are things I like....proof is another...somehow these guys have neither but nobody calls BS on them

Well, I've always lived by the "Believe 1/2 of what you read" rule.

There will always be people that do things like that on the internet, heck even companies do it! The real question that I ask myself is; Is it worth my time to get to the bottom of the claims?

Well guys he is a new member and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but he removed that when he started making rediculous claims that A) arent possible B) are highly suspect C) too convinient per the discussion

Something along the lines of X cars are the best and Y cars are garbage....when I showed him that the garbage was in 2nd place in front of some of the "best" cars he made excuses.....then proceeded to tell me his car will run a 10.11 1/4 mile...

Opinions are one thing, straight out BS is something I dont tolerate at all.....especially since we rely on others experience with certain things to base their opinions....if he lies about that....what makes me beleive anything he posts?

I think its sad that someone would lie to prove the facts wrong....but I guess he doubted my knowledge.....only following drag racing for 7 years....drag race myself...am a track champion and like all kinds of cars....

Some just choose to tell themselves anything in the hopes of making it the truth...no matter how ridiculous it is....10.11.....didnt even give a trap speed just ET

and heck you guys have no idea, candyapple is a very well and good respected member in the bimmer scene for his I6-like looking V8!!!!! i have seen nobody else performing that before.

New rule. Anyone who wants to brag about power, drag passes or lap times has to show proof. This should cut down on about 1/2 of the posts here. Maybe Andrew can photoshop something together for us. I'd like to see a pic of this 6 speed monster with 306 wheel horse that does a 10sec 1/4 mile.

I, for one, am mostly full of crap. If someone posts a question that asks what I think, you can pretty much expect BS. If somone asks for help with a problem, that isn't completely absurd, I try to stick to the facts, and provide source info so my statements can be evaluated fairly.

dare to try is not the problem, I've raced before in my Mustang GT, Toyoto MR2, and even in my Grand Prix GTP's (all three of them).......I need to pick a better opponent, he's almost 60 and I dont think the reaction time is fair to him.......
