Good grief. LOL. Okay, I'll check PM. You may enjoy conservative rants where a columnist hacks his commentary peice above to include (1) this immigration thing, if it happened as he says, who knows...still no facts provided (2) gay rights (3) the pledge of allegiance (4) abortion protests and (5) judges. To pretend this is some sort of a "heads up" news post is absurd. It's like a constant harangue of conservative rants without any details of what we're supposed to be all upset and hating about. Pretend this is news? Where is this case? What are the details, do these defendants have names? Any facts, anyone, please. Google it? Why is this being presented as news, if it is, in fact, not. Don't pretend you don't know the difference.

I got your PM asking me to post anything I have to say on the forum rather than a PM so here it is. Regardless of the case, regardless of what the poltical views of the judge, prosecutor, defendants and or witnesses I believe that making a statement (if it was indeeed made, as I was not there to personally hear it, although you can research it through Findlaw.com) that the defendants should not have been arrested because they were trying to work, even though they committed identity theft is nuts! I did not comment before or this time on "gay rights", "abortion", the pledge, etc. you interjected those, so therfore I was NOT being poltical. I did not "pretend this was news", I simply replied to a post. Get over it, PLEASE!

LOL. Right on. Well that was what the article was about....that's the topic of the thread. I read the Fox News conservative columnist's commentary piece. I would still love to know what we're supposed to be getting all riled up about. Where is this supposed case, who were the defendants, what really happened. The hack didn't include ANY details in his column. So, I guess I'll just have to assume it's exaggerated and nothing to get all upset about. Looks like our judical system might be humming along just fine (unless I can be given ANY details to believe otherwise...commentary from extreme conservatives doesn't count!).

OMG - I guess it really did happen because here is the liberal twist to the same story!!! Fox news really does report news!!! (aNoodle - Maybe you should look news up in the dictionary sometime) So much for fox news not reporting news.

Seems to be a trend for this county, and of course it costs money to put criminals away - thats one of the many reasons people pay taxes.

Still think it's all a sham? You absolutely MUST have a list of people?

Why is it posted here? It doesn't apply to cars so it is posted in the "Gerneral Chat Lounge"

If it were about cars, I would have posted it under general car chat. If you havn't noticed, most message boards like this one also have areas that you can post items that are not related to the main purpose of the message board. Otherwise, where would codex be able to put all of those jokes that we all love?

This post is not about politics. It is about identity theft and the judge just letting them go because they were "trying to make better lives for themselves and their families". Why not just take it to the next step and let armed robbery suspects go because they were just "trying to make better lives for themselves and their families".

FYI - I have nothing against immigrants. Our country is made up almost entirly of immigrants and some people even suggest that the native americans are also immagrants. When it comes to immigration, what I do have a problem with is ILLEGAL immagration. There are processes set up to get into the country for a reason. Defying those reasons costs far more that the $74 a day issue that Newhampton County, PA judges use as part of their excuse.

What's most amazing about all this is that Bush wants to legalize all these folks...or was he just pandering for the spanish vote, knowing full well his conservative haters would never budge? I mean, this is a double whammy...hate of judges and hate of immagrants. It's a two for one special!
what the hell is "spanish vote"?

That's exactly my point. A launching pad to a conservative rant. Your post above speaks for itself. Why push extreme conservative commentary pieces on a car forum? It's a constant harangue of exactly this above. I mean listen to yourself!?! Why not post a news story and ask for a serious conversation about the state of immigration and why Bush would back legalizing those in this country illegally. Instead, it's this commentary nonsense and this rant right here...chimed in by the little group of conservatives that add crap lip service like....thumbs up...i hate people like that...what does spanish vote mean....big britches...etc. Ugggghhhh.

Give it a rest. Enough hate. Enough politics please. I assume you read the link you posted before bring it to the BMWBoard?!?
