I think Bush has done very well for the hand that was dealt. I like the fact that Bush does what he says he's going to do.
Bush wasn't dealt this hand. He pulled it out of his sleeves.
Being in the military myself I can honestly say that there is no good answers to the Iraq situation. Bush has backed himself into a corner that he can't get out of. We can't pull out of Iraq because then the people will say we deserted them and we would end up with an enemy anyways. And we can't stay there, because they are constantly rebelling against us, saying that we are not there for the good of the people.
gotta go I will finish this later
I agree, there is no way out of this. And just wait until we get the final price tag, probably due in about 15 years.
The age distribution in the US is shifting and we going further in debt, our tax rates are going to be 50% if we don't stop this-but like you say, how?
Another interesting point, those that complain the most about taxes are the people that don't pay much anyway? Take the South for example, they are the lowest wage earners and pay the least in taxes. As an example, You have Joe with a BS from Alabama U, his wife with some job outside the home, and a few kids. They make about 50-60K/year and pay very little in taxes relative to a lot of us and they are the one's doing the most complaining about a potential increase.
I say [EDIT] go out and make some real money if you want more cash. Furthermore, Kerry has no plan to increase your taxes, you are already paying less that many other parts of the country, but the simple fact is YOU MUST PAY SOMETHING!!!!!
I am sick of paying the way for these people, and guess who is going to get nailed for their war, people like me that are already paying more in taxes than these people earn! I am sick of this argument, stand up and be a man I say to those similarly situated , if you want more money EARN IT!!!!!
