Thanks so much for the help guys. I think I finally killed the little bastard. Now, no more weird popups occur either. I'm pretty sure I had a virus but for some reason Norton couldn't find anything.

Heh, look for a program called ERD Commander 2002 or 2003. This will boot your systemm, let you have limited access, and more. Saved me many times over. You won't leave home without it.
