Thanks so much for the help guys. I think I finally killed the little bastard. Now, no more weird popups occur either. I'm pretty sure I had a virus but for some reason Norton couldn't find anything.

Also, unlike 95/98/ME, NT 4, 2000, and XP do not have "startup" diskettes that allow you to access the system from a command line. If you boot from the 2000/XP install CD, you can access the Recovery Console, which gives you limited access to the hard drive (only %systemroot% directory tree). NT 4, you are SOL, unless you have some magic disks or are very skilled.

Heh, look for a program called ERD Commander 2002 or 2003. This will boot your systemm, let you have limited access, and more. Saved me many times over. You won't leave home without it.
