Floyd, id like your job for a year.
I got started by installing head units, full systems, building boxes and installing phone systems for friends, family and the next in high school. i knew electronics was my game.

i took the quick route, Devry in Atlanta and have ended up where i expected, things going sweet.

my bimmer was a $1 purchase. im not sure where my money will land when it comes time for a new car yet. im thinking an S4 would suite me best, but who knows.

sales guy for a german company producing seamless and welded steel tubes and pipes for OCTG, automotive applications, aviation stuff, powergenerating facilities and precision steel tubing.
finished school in 97, did my service, made my appremticeship and graduated, started working at the same company and currently in the US for them. possible change of assignment from powergenerating facilities to automotive applications is in reach. we'll see.

Process Control Systems Engineer. I know, you're probably saying what the heck is that? I design & program computer systems - hardware & software (dual degrees EE/Comp Sci) that control the machines & continuous processes that make things, especially food & dairy products.

Way too much work. I prefer the Oceans eleven approach. That way you get the satisfaction of making somebody look like a complete ass in the mean time.[thumb][hihi]

I am a farmer and the IS Manager for a produce company by day, and a student of physics and home improvement by night. I have been a teacher and computer programmer. I have worked in a factory building very large machines, and built very small CCD cameras before you could buy them (circa 1985). I have worked for the US Government, but am not permitted to discuss it, and have been a guest at the "county hotel". I have traveled extensively through Europe, Africa, and North America. I am not rich, but I lack very few things that I desire.

when you are not allowed to talk about your work for the government, why did you mention it?

Because it sounds better that way. Actually I can talk about it, it's just not very exiciting. Hey, if someone can do 240 MPH in his dad's car, I got to have something.
