We have a high standerd and it isnt cheep thats for sure. But the cost down here i am sure isnt as high as it is up there. . . . But im not sure...... i know it cost alot for nothing in scottsdale arizona. We had a 2 bedroom house in a gated supdivison with its own mountain and it cost 350,000 yea for a 2 bedroom.
That's how much some townhouses cost in Chester County.

what do you guys think about the passat
Nice interior. Lots of room. Cheaper alternative to the Audi A6.

Got some balls in W8 trim. I am impressed that they offer a six-speed manual in the W8. That would be the only passat I would consider (at least at this stage in life).

I am not a huge fan of the styling, but not bad overall. Some reliability issues on the early years of the current generation car, but that should be worked out for the most part. Not as reliable as a japanese car. VW has had a few quality issues, but on the whole builds solid cars.

what do you think about the new saab 9-3 sport sedans?
They don't excite me. I don't like FWD cars with a lot of power. Torque steer and turbo lag are not things I like to combine. I am sure the new Saabs have come light years, but from what I have heard the Swedish car you want to check out is the Volvo S60 R. At least that is AWD, and it packs a lot of punch and content for the price.

I am advocating a look at the S60 R, not a regular S60. A regular S60 is decent transportation and all, safe, etc., but not a performance automobile. The S60 R just came out and runs $35-40k new.

Looking at pictures and stats is fine, but you need to go drive some cars.

Did I mention you should go drive some cars?

Yeah, Lebarons suck ass!!!! I am not a personal fan of Saab's. I just don't like the body style and theinterior looks like something out of a crackerjack box. The volvo's are getting nicer by the day, but I'm just not a huge fan of swedish cars in general.

i like the looks of the new saabs but not an older one no way

and the prob. with volvo would be they are owned by ford
You do know that GM owns Saab?

I don't understand the anti-Volvo sentiment based on membership in Ford's Premier Automotive Group. Ford has shown admirable restraint in leaving these marques alone while improving quality. Look at what they did for Jaguar. I don't think you would turn down an Aston Martin Vanquish, which is another Ford-owned brand.

If Ford bought BMW would you stop loving them?
