The H2 sucks. It makes NO sense to own one at all. It is one of the biggest and most capable SUV's out there, but it only seats 5 people and the trunk is small. Not only that, I see a lot of H2's in NJ with 37-thousand inch chrome bling bling rims on low-profile tires, which defeat the purpose of it being an all-terrain vehicle. I think everybody who drives an H2 is a person who is into status and looking cool....it is a very conceited vehicle. And it doesn't even look good, it's just a big raised box on 4 wheels. I love SUV's, but I HATE the H2....

Amen. H2s have no point. That crunch commercial sums up an average personality of a Hummer driver pretty well.

Haha, on Comedy Central they just played that snickers commercial, or whatever it is, and then they played that H2 commercial where the kid makes a box car derby car into an H2 right after that. You know the guys at the studio were crackin' up.

[thumb] [clap]

H2 had the lowest owner satisfaction rating of ANY vehicle on the road last year.

Yeah but for a 130K+ pricetag I wouldn't mind being killed. The guy should have his little "orgies" from time to time.. I mean,.. a person who buys one of those thing needs to sell his toes to pay it off. Atleast I drive with style.. [:I]

Actually, that's not true at all. Pushakov has a 330Ci Convertible Auto. That does 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. The H2 does 0-60 in in 10 seconds. The H2 has a 6.0L 316hp V8 engine, but it weighs 6,400 lbs and is the opposite of aerodynamic. Pushakov has 91 less horsepower (3.0 liter 225hp I6), but his car only weighs 3,704 lbs. The 330CiC easily out-accelerates, out-handles, and out-brakes the H2. All the H2 can do is go off-road like a mountain goat, but how many H2 owners actually do hard-core off-roading?

It doesn't matter, you have to compare stock vs stock. H2 that does 0-60 in 4 seconds faster than stock, needs massive tuning (which means massive $$$). Air intake, exhaust, chip, SUPERCHARGER, etc. You can drop in a supercharger in the 330CiC and it would blow the H2 away again. An H2 already gets only 11mpg...imagine how much gas mileage an H2 with a supercharger would get...I would think about 6mpg on a good day.

nah really ITS GOING TO BE SLOW YOU FU*KING DUM A$$

push you really piss me off some times[:(!]

and for its HUGE SIZE that is a very good 0-60 time.
What about the 7 series that you love oh so much? It weighs very close to the H2 and both have 6.0 liter engines. 7 series does 0 - 60 in 5.4 second. the 0 - 60 for the H2 is not impressive at all, especially since it gets absolutely horrible gas mileage and is a very rude car to drive (as it is HUGE, and everyone else has to go around it.)

So suck that! Stop being an ass to people [8)]

Hitman, I wasn't jumping on you. I apologize if you took it that way. I just don't think the H2 deserves any credit, as an automobile in general or as an SUV. It is ugly, it gets bad gas mileage, it is slow, it doesn't handle well, the brakes are poor, it doesn't have a lot of interior room especially considering how big it is, and it's ugly. The only thing it's good at is off-roading, and if I wanted a vehicle that was good at off-roading and in that price range, I would get the Lexus GX470...at least that puppy has class and luxury, and is very practical.

I think the h2s are not the best suv but not the worst the worst suv is that toyota full size thing it is slower throught the cones than a H1 with is just reall really sad.

Oh and i know the new 7's look like the h2 but that is just a sad comparison.[:D]

According to Car and Driver the Lingenfelter Hummer H2 can run to 60 in 6.1 seconds, and covers the 1/4 mile in 14.5 seconds. WHAT IS THE POINT???? For far less money I could get a good car, such as any BMW coupe. Tell me, who here would take an quick brick H2 over a graceful and fluid E46 M3? Give me enough money and I could turn a city bus into a drag strip terror...

You know people, who really cares what the 0-60 times are for a huge SUV. Arguing over 0-60 times of a Hummer in any since of the matter doesn't make since in my book. I really doubt the people buying those absurd vehicles really care (or even looked) at what it would do in 0-60, quarter mile, or top speed categories so why should you. This is not directed at anyone just the whole thread sans Tom's story in general. [:)]
